路緣石的定義及分類
路緣石是設在路面邊緣的界石，也稱為道牙或緣石。它在路面上還區(qū)分車行道、人行道、綠地、隔離帶和道路其他部分的界線，起到保障行人，車輛交通安全和保證路面邊緣齊整的作用，同時起到利于排除路面水的作用。

路緣石宜用石材或混凝土制作。在城市道路中，側(cè)平石通常設置在瀝青類路面邊緣，平石鋪在瀝青路面與側(cè)石之間形成街溝，也有用L道牙(側(cè)石與平石連體)，適宜用于主車道兩側(cè)；

.路緣石應穩(wěn)固，線形平直，曲線圓順，縫寬均勻，表面潔凈不被污染，勾縫嚴密，不得阻水。
